About
Brittney Bollay is one of a whole family of creative people, which may explain, among other things, why she has been writing, drawing, and crafting since she first had the manual dexterity to do so. Her first forays into the darkroom came in elementary school, helping out her mother’s art school friends, but her own passion for photography wasn’t fully realized until she stole her boyfriend’s camera to document the peculiarities of life in Egypt.
Brittney’s writing and photography has been published on the internet and in print, and she is a regular contributor to KEXP, Ear Candy, and Sound On The Sound. She has also worked as a preschool teacher, a scuba diving instructor, and a housekeeper in the labor and delivery ward of a hospital.
After living abroad for over four years, Brittney now resides in Seattle with her husband, her dogs, and her cameras.
